What is your photography style?
Un-posed…I may tell you to put your hand in your pocket or lift the bouquet higher, but that’s just to make your images the best they can be.
I love to do a couples shoot with my clients, it give you some moments of intimate quiet away from the craziness of the day and gives you some personal pictures which reflect you both. I’ll always look for the perfect locations for these before your day.
I want to capture the moods, emotions and all the little details of your day, which is why a less traditional documentary style of shooting is the way I prefer to shoot your day. This doesn’t mean I won’t get some shots of you and your lined-up grinning family and friends, as it’s all about what’s important to you on your wedding day.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I am based in Derby, UK and yes I absolutely love to travel! There may be additional travel costs, depending on where your wedding is located, but generally this won’t be necessary. I will always try to find the cheapest way to get to your day and if possible avoid staying overnight. All of these details can be discussed at your consultation with me.
How many pictures will we get?
You will receive 300 to 600 images. I choose quality over quantity, but I am dedicated to capturing the atmosphere of your special day.
What happens with the booking retainer fee if I need to cancel or postpone my wedding or event?
A completely fair question, but a bit of a tricky one, as the booking retainer fee is something that keeps your date secure from other bookings taking place on that particular day, so if a wedding or event is cancelled this is the money that would cover the lack of a job on that day.
I always give an option to keep a booking open with a client, with the intent to reschedule the photoshoot for another date, in case of postponements. And if for whatever reason I can’t attend your rescheduled date, I would arrange another photographer to shoot your wedding or event.
When can we expect our photos?
Up to 2 days after your wedding day you will receive 10 approx. web-ready images so you can share them with your friends and family soon after your wedding. This is because I want you to be able to see some of the captured moment of the day while they’re still fresh in your mind - and because I get very excited about editing them all!
You will receive a Client Gallery link and password to your personal gallery within maximum 8 weeks (depending on the season I photograph your wedding they may be with you sooner). Here you will be able to download, share, choose your favourites and purchase prints all in one place. You will also receive your images in High Resolution on a beautifully packaged USB drive.
Depending on the package you have chosen you will receive your luxury prints 2-4 months after your wedding day.
