“We used Tess for our wedding in March 2023, and had the ‘every bit of it’ package. We also had a mini shoot prior to our wedding, which was such a great idea as it helped us relax infront of the camera and not be as awkward on our big day!
When looking for a photographer, we wanted photos that are relaxed and natural. Tess was absolutely perfect for this, our photos are incredible, and she really did blend into the background and snapped some great candid photos of us and our guests! We received a few images the morning after our wedding, which was incredibly fast. The online gallery is so easy to use, and share with our friends and family, we spent an evening watching the slide show in tears at how incredible it all looked! Every single guest we shared the photos with can’t believe how well Tess captured our day. A number of our guests have also expressed an interest in using Tess themselves, as they were so impressed!”
“Cannot recommend Tess enough she really was the best vendor we had on our special day and running up to it. Very competitively priced with the other photographers in Derby but we feel what you get in Tess’ wedding package goes above and beyond what you’d expect for her price. From the start the booking process was so easy and accommodating. Our engagement shoot was great (even in the rain), Tess is so lovely and easy to get along with there was no awkward moments. She also didn’t mind we were novices at posing for photos which was great as she was able to direct us without being condescending.
On the big day we hardly noticed her at all (ninja style) but somehow she beautifully documented the whole day. There was not a moment missed. Along with our family group shots we have so many memories now saved thanks to Tess. And to have our preview shots already in our emails by the time we got to our hotel THAT night it was so special to drunkingly look back at the day (and again the morning after). The cherry on top really is the keepsake box & usb stick they are so precious and will definitely get handed down generations for them to love as much as we do.”

We found Tess as she had photographed a wedding at our venue previously. We loved her candid shots so much.
Through the whole process of planning (and rearranging) our wedding, Tess was very accommodating, patient and kind.
When we finally met in person on the morning of the wedding we both felt really comfortable (which means a lot as my husband is usually quite uncomfortable having his photo taken) We felt so relaxed and we knew we were in good hands.
Tess was the perfect balance of a stealthy hidden photographer as well as great at getting everyone’s attention in the group shots.
We expected a long wait for the pictures to come through but it was such a speedy turn around. We loved looking at the pictures on our mini-moon. You can really see the joy of our day!
The gallery is very user friendly. Every generation of our family has been delighted to browse through the photos. There have been a few emotional moments looking back at them already.

Tess really did work so hard to get all the best pictures and she blended into the day effortlessly too, she listened exactly to what we wanted and made all the guests feel so relaxed.
She also did us a little doorstep shoot with our new baby back in April too, such special pictures to be able to treasure which I didn’t think we would be able to get because of the restrictions. Baby George was not happy for the entire time yet the pictures are still perfect, so that just shows how good she is! I intend to make the most of having such a talented friend at many more occasions.
